2. Person: Marge Simpson, Event: Fairtrade Coffee Break
She is often stressed because of her family, so a coffee event would be a nice time for her to concentrate on other things while taking a break for herself.
Marge is a family oriented person and usually puts her family first, so this could be an event where she can meet new people.
She has a gambling addiction so this event could be a distraction for her.
Marge is a doer and could potentially be the voice of the event - she already provides a voice of reason for her town.
She is a caring and nurturing person so this event would allow her to create a fairer world while building a better future for farmers and improving working conditions for others.
Marge would be interested in the coffee first since she is always stressed but the fair-trade might catch her eye afterwards.
A simple and to the point banner/poster would be enough to attract her. Maybe a giant coffee cup or bag with the words printed "fair-trade" in bold would get her attention. If it's too complicated, it will be too stressful to read.
It could possibly put them off if the event was promoted as something loud and crazy. It would ruin the definition of a "break" for her. She would probably prefer something a little more peaceful and casual.
As a designer I would want to use warm colours so it is relaxing to look at. But also using contrast so the image and type still pops out. For someone who is usually stressed, I would want the design to be nice and simple and straight to point.
